YAMAMOTO OPEN ON OKEECHOBEE STORY AND RESULTS

There's no finer bass than a Florida bass. The Yamamoto Open
on Okeechobee April 12th was a special event. I will always
remember being part of it. Sacks were brought in topping
25 lbs and whopper bass up to 7.9 lbs, exclusively on
Yamamoto soft baits.

Thank you everyone of the sixty-one angler teams who made
the Okeechobee Open possible. Teams from Florida, Georgia,
South Carolina, North Carolina, New York, Quebec, Canada.
Plus a guy named just Tennessee. Thank you Kevin and Kim and
their dog named Senko; Scott and Jeff Turner; Rick and
Roxann; Doug and Claire; Harland and his wife; Tony Menna,
Sherman and the Florida firefighters contingent; Sal
Degregorio; Joe Gaglio; George & Scott Welcome; Dave &
Dennis; TJ Fagan and his family; Bob Kostrzewa, Ron
Benenati, Doug, Jimmy Fones, Rocky, Randy, Charlie Hays and
the 14 teams who represented the Florida State BASS
Federation.

Thank you every angler for the time we spent together at the
barbecue becoming friends and fishing Okeechobee.

There is no finer bass than a Florida bass. No fonder memory
than the good day we all shared at Okeechobee.

IT ALL LEADS YOU TO THE YAMAMOTO CLASSIC CHAMPIONSHIP

It all leads you to the Yamamoto Classic Championship where
you can be crowned the Yamamoto Angler Team of the Year, the
country, indeed the world!

What a title that would be, and someone's going to win it!
May as well be you~

How it works is you and your team partner will be invited to
partake in the Yamamoto Classic Championship if you've
finished 40th or above in any one of the 4 Opens (Oroville,
Okeechobee, Hudson or Neely-Henry).

At the Classic, Champion Boats will award the first place
Yamamoto Anglers of the Year with a first place prize 206
Elite Champion bassboat.

There's no entry fee to pay for the Yamamoto Classic, and if
any of the top 40 teams can't attend, then the invitation
will be extended to the 41st team and so on until a full
field of 160 boats is reached! So, you have an excellent
chance of making it to the Yamamoto Classic where you and
your partner can be crowned the Yamamoto Team of the Year.

Best of all, in addition to the first place prize of a
Champion 206 bassboat, Champion Boats will also award one
188 Elite Champion bassboat at random to a lucky team in
attendance! So, you may win a beautiful Champion boat just
for being there! Sounds pretty exciting, eh? It's going to
be great!

The Yamamoto Classic date and location will be released
shortly. All I will say for now is the Yamamoto Classic will
be centrally-located somewhere between California, Florida,
New York and Alabama, the sites of the four qualifying Open
events.

It was great to meet everyone at Okeechobee, at Oroville and
I look forward to meet you at the Hudson in June and at
Neely-Henry in September. Then let's meet again at the
Yamamoto Classic, give away two beautiful Champion Boats
prizes, and crown some team among us as the best Yamamoto
Anglers of the Year, the country, indeed the world!

Thank you.

Regards,

Russ Bassdozer
