TEAM YAMAMOTO AT THE BASSMASTER CLASSIC

Well, the blazing roostertails have since subsided. The fish
have been happily released back into their homes. The crowds
of avid bass anglers have returned home happy. All is said
and done, except to say how proud we are of the five anglers
who represented Gary Yamamoto Custom Baits in the 2003 Bass
Masters Classic, the world championship of our beloved
sport:

4th - Roland Martin, Team Yamamoto National Pro
29th - Joel St. Germain, Rhode Island BASS Federation
30th - John Murray, Team Yamamoto National Pro
46th - Jerry Shawver, Florida BASS Federation
56th - Takahiro Omori, Team Yamamoto National Pro

BULK UP NOW FOR AUGUST FULL MOON WHOPPERS

With the August moon rising this week (Aug. 12th), keep your
ears perked for reports of big bass being caught this week.
An uptick in big bass landed on the August full moon is a
phenomena I've observed over the years.

Better yet, stop toying with the dinks of summer. Bulk up
your baits now! Devote some time to big bass fishing this
week. What I mean is, use some of the biggest Yamamoto baits
we make in an attempt to land yourself the "whopper of
summer" this week (and don't forget the camera):

8" Single Tail Grub (10 series)
6" Single Tail Grub (19 series)
6" Yamamoto Hula Grub (99 series)
5" Craw (3 series)
7" Senko (9X series)
6" Senko (9L series)
6-1/2" Kut Tail (7X series)
8" Worm (8 series)

These larger baits were designed by Gary Yamamoto to appeal
to bigger bass.

DID YOU KNOW? INTERNATIONAL LARGEMOUTH

The smallmouth bass is a bit of a homebody in that it hasn't
gotten too far out of North America yet. However the
largemouth bass...now there's a real world traveller!

Largemouth flick their fins in at least fifteen countries:
Brazil, Canada, Cuba, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Korea,
Mexico, Portugal, South Africa, Spain, the USA and Zimbabwe.
