Reader Big Al Grabowski wrote on August 11, 2004 to say: "My always reliable bait is the Senko but your sales supervisor Jeremy Riley talked me into trying some new Kreatures last week. I fished them on a Carolina rig with a 3/0 Gamakatsu hook. The Kreature worked!!!! I finished in first place at the Gander Mountain Bass Tournament in Minnesota on Whitefish (Cross Lake). The event will be televised on OLN in January, 2005. I was wearing my white Yamamoto shirt during the filming of the tournament and at the weigh-in." - Big Al Grabowski from Andover, Minnesota __________________________________________________ ADAMS & MYERS TEAM UP WITH KREATURE FOR FIRST! Reader David Adams wrote on August 24, 2004 to say: "I just wanted to drop you a line and let you know how my fishing partner Mike Myers and I did this past weekend at Angler's Choice. Taking 1st place is always a great feeling! The Kreature was unbelievable. The Indiana shore of Lake Michigan was a tough bite for many anglers all day. There were only a couple of limits brought in. Yet right from the get-go, my first cast with a watermelon with black flake Kreature bait, I caught a smallmouth over 3 pounds. Not even minutes later, I caught another 3 and a 2.5 giving us three quality fish within a half hour. My partner couldn't get bit on anything, until I threw him a Kreature. Later in the afternoon, I hooked into a 3.76 smallie that won me the big fish award for the tournament. The way I rigged the Kreature was with an eighth ounce tungsten bullet sinker pegged with a 3/0 wide gap hook. I put the Kreature on backwards (with the tentacles up). It was more effective this way (I tried both ways). I could go on forever about this hot new bait. It will be tied on for the next tournament. Thanks to Yamamoto and the Kreature! - David S.
